Forest of Dean from Speech House

On the reverse is the following: "You dont know this place do you. They had a very stormy miners demonstration there this year.
Maurice Woodman catered for them he tells me and made a £10 out of it."
This would suggest the message was written in the 1920's. Possibly by Arthur Phelps as he and Maurice were friends.
