Beatrice Martin and Alfred Storey Wedding c1927

This wedding took place in Cinderford about 1927-29.

The bride is my Aunt, Miss Beatrice Martin of Cinderford and the groom is Mr. Alfred Storey of Cumberland (now Cumbria). The little girl is the bride's niece, Miss Betty Martin, whose father, Mr. Ernest Martin, had a gents' outfitters shop on the corner of Wesley Road and High Street, Cinderford and later sold this business to Hodges Gents Outfitters.

Ray Capener, is the best man on the left of the groom - the tall man. I do not know who the other members of the photo are.

My Aunt is my Mother's youngest sister and has, today 21st January 2007, celebrated her 102nd birthday in Poole where she now lives. My Aunt unfortunately has suffered a stroke and cannot remember many events.
