Harriet Barnfield-Hale
My maternal grandmother Harriet Barnfield-Hale pictured with the first four of her twelve (or maybe thirteen children)! I assume it was taken outside their house in Lord's Hill, Coleford
Pictured left is her first child Harriet Ester. Ester and she was known married William Wildin, of Bream
On the right is Doris who married Denis James of Chepstow.
The small boy is Joseph, who was a electrical mining engineer and later (1950s) was the landlord of 'The Feathers' in Coleford, his wife Gwen still lives locally in Parkend
The baby in my grandmother's arms is my mother, Elivira Mary
If any forum members have any additional information about the Barnfied-Hales I would love to hear from them
