Charles Rooke

Born January 1855 in the Forest of Dean, died in Worsborough, Barnsley.

The child on his knee was his step-grandson (he married a widow and had no children
of his own). The step grandson was called C. H. Parker and he died in Buffalo New
York. Charles is the son of Paul Rook(e) and Hannah Rook(e) (nee Hawkins).
Charles was definitely in Barnsley by the time of the 1891 census and his
occupation was a miner.
