Sarah Smith

My great grandmother Sarah SMITH nee DAVIS
Born in Newland in 1846, and was the daughter of William and Sarah Davis

Married Levi Smith, son of Timothy and Caroline Smith, in 1868 and they lived in Stag Lane in Yorkley

Sarah and Levi had 10 children of which my grandfather Thomas David was the last.
Levi was called 'Billy Playfair' by his colleagues at the New Fancy pit
