Picture of Uncle Tom Ambrey and my father, Thomas Kenny-Thomas Baynham Ambrey
was born 1898 in West Dean, Gloucestershire. His parents were James and Susan
(nee Thomas) Ambrey and he was the second to the oldest of their six living children.

My father, Thomas Joseph Kenny was born in Manhattan, NY on 7 Jan 1928. This
picture was taken 52 stories up on the Empire State Building. My grandparents
John and Gladys(nee Ambrey) Kenny were living in Manhattan from 1925 to 1932.
Incidentally, my grandfather John Kenny was a bootlegger during prohibition (1919-1933)
