The Gravestone picture is unusual due to the children shown
It was photgraphed in Ruardean Churchyard
To put the family in context; William Yemm was the son of Amos Yemm & Winifred Baldwin, Lydia was nee Marfell daughter of George Marfell 1781/1862 - picture already on web site - & Hannah Waldin.
I am intrigued by the entry for the children. I knew they had both died in Illinois, Elizabeth Yemm born 1855 married (1) Richard Whittington born Little Dean & (2) Abraham Bannister born Ruardean, both marriages in Forest of Dean. Frederick Sydney Yemm born 1856, both children baptised at Bible Christian Chapel Ruardean
The inscription does not say in memory of, or similar and yet it is almost inconceivable that the bodies would have been shipped back
