Mitcheldean Band c1898

At Mitcheldean Rectory.

Mitcheldean had its own Band by 1843 but it was disbanded in 1914,
it never reformed after the 1914 - 1918 war. Some members went to
Longhope and others to Drybrook Band. Longhope Band continued until
1939 but did not continue after the last world war. Drybrook still has a large support.
The uniforms of the Mitcheldean Band were made up of Surplus Boer War Uniforms.
