We were wearing the old Lydbrook Athletic strip
This photo was taken the day we were beaten 9-1 by Ruardean Home Guard
We were the first to play on the new recreation ground at Lydbrook, the goal
posts were borrowed from Worral Hill and I remember the referee regularly being
thrown in the river by the sinned against team!
