Thomas Clarke Wintle 1866-1945. He went into business with his father (Alfred John Wintle) at Bill Mills. He married Emily Fanny Hart of Ross. They lived at Elm Cottage on the main road between Ross and Mitcheldean, near Weston Under Penyard (where Thomas Clarke Wintle was a churchwarden). Photographed here at Elm Cottage (which is still there) with their children Alfred Wintle b. 1895 and Phyllis Maud Wintle 1894-1983.
